These motors are equipped with thermistors assembled in the winding of the servo-motor. They conform to the ATEX standards, the wiring diagram of this protection must be followed scrupulously.

Explosion Proof Servo Motors
The EX Servo motors are designed to function in Category II, Group II explosive atmospheres in respect to the EN 50014 standard. These servo-motors are certified according to directive ATEX 94/9/CE and are available in a Gas or Gas-Dust version. The difference between the two being that the Gas-Dust version is equipped with a special lip seal on the customer end shaft.

Gas-Dust Version: II2 GD EEx D IIB T4
