Kollmorgen Motor RBE(H) series brushless motors

The HT Series is a family of three phase brushless motors available in a variety of diameters and lengths. Hall effect sensors for commutation are integral to the motor and require no setup on the part of the user.

The extensive range of standard HT Series motors is especially well suited to applications demanding high power density motors which minimize size, weight, and inertia.

Additionally, Emoteq can customize designs at a surprisingly low cost and deliver very quickly. Therefore, your system can be swiftly proven with the optimum design solution. Please call and discuss your needs with one of our knowledgeable applications engineers at (800) 433-3434. You'll be pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to deal with this specialty servo products company.

- Coordinate measuring systems Stabilized gun platforms.

The mechanical form factor of Megaflux motors, a thin annular ring with a large diameter to length ratio, allows the motor to be wrapped around a driven shaft. The direct connection of the motor to the load effectively eliminates problems of torsional resonances due to couplings and the backlash associated with gear driven systems.

Direct integration also results in minimal mechanical size. A series of through holes have been incorporated into the Megaflux stator design to provide a rugged, simple, and low cost method of mounting the stator. Using the load’s bearing system, the need for separate end-caps has been
Rotary air-bearing table driven by an MF0210010 motor with integrated 150mm diameter, 0.5 micron resolution encoder.
Similarly, the rotor features a series of holes to
allow mounting directly to the load shaft.
Megaflux motors can be supplied with or without Hall effect sensors for commutation. Although the motors can be driven with six step commutation drives, for optimum performance, sinusoidal commutation is recommended.
Changes can be easily made to the mechanical and electrical characteristics to suit specific application requirements. We are also structured to engineer and build completely custom motor solutions.
